Music Video

This is my very first music video.  It's a remake of the music video for Look Into My Eyes, by Outlandish.  The production company is actually Sony BMG and not Daze Studios, this was an editing mistake by yours truly.

Give me constructive criticsm so I can get better at this.

Jazaks,
Omar

I was up at 2:50 when...

Seriously, this may well be the best late-nighter I have had in years...YEARS. I was up late finishing Chem hw when my dad comes at my door and says, "go to sleep, you don't have school tomorrow."

First thought, "I'm busy right now, I have to get this done, I'll be down in a minute"

Second thought, "Wait, did he just say no school? Pshh, this chem h.w. is starting to get into my head. No seriously, did he just say no school? Naw, it can't be."

Dad: I said go to sleep, you can do this tomorrow, I just heard on the radio your school is closed.

Third thought, "DUDE DUDE DUDE!!!! FUHGETABOUT CHEM, NO SCHOOL!!!!!!!!!!!"

So I get online and check to make sure I'm not dreaming. and I see...
Screenshot - 2_5_2007 , 2_24_25 AM Ya serious?

I am still not convinced, so I turn on the tube and see...

school closed

Seriously, this has made me so hyper, like the time I would take a sip of my mom's chai when I was 5 years old and become the brown Energizer Bunny. Man, this is better than a triple shot expresso (not that I can swallow that).

I had so much energy that I downloaded software to get a screen capture, recorded the newscast, captured it on to the computer, and I wrote all this. All this energy at 2:52 a.m. I wonder if I should go simmer down outside in the 4 degree climate...

May Allah guide me...

Rodayo Drive

Salaams all,

I'm here in California with my sister and brother-in-law.  My sister took me to Rodeo Dr. in Beverly Hills and I saw some amazing things.  My sister was gazing at the stores that sell six-figure merchandise, while I was gazing at....

Enough said.

Boomakalot

    Three words...

LOWER YOUR GAZE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Behold, this is not the 330i, this is the 335i
You ask, "Well Omar, what's the big difference, it's just adding a five to the name."
My response, "and 50 hp totaling 300 and 300lb of torque from a twin turbocharged V-6".
You say, "what does that mean?"
    I say, "0-60 in 4.8 seconds"
    You say, "O"
My final response, "Lower your gaze."

Something worth updating for

Salams

Venezuelan President calls Bush devil.  IT'S ABOUT DAMN TIME.

Anyways, today I came back from the white joint (school) and glanced over the first page of the newspaper.  In a highlighted and bold section, in said, "The Hot Issue: Do you believe that mainstream Islam encourages violence against nonbelievers?, vote online at dispatch.com" So I thought to myself, "O man, I gotta check out what my fellow Ohioans have to say about Islam".  Well I go on line, and as of 5:35 September 20, 2006, 67% of people living in Columbus think Islam enforces violence against non-believers.  Also on the website was a comment section, and I seriously in my young life have never seen such ignorant thoughts.  It really woke me up, becuase I always heard about how muslims are labeled as terrorists but never really saw it or felt it first hand.   So i decided to leave a  comment:

People need to lose their ignorance and study Islam. What is TRUE Jihad? What does the Quran have to say about it? What were the Crusades? Who did the Oklahoma bombing? Think about these questions people. Also, go to your nearest local mosque (there is one off N. Broadway, one on E. Broad St., and one being built by Tuttle Crossing) and talk to some of the muslims praying their and get to know them. Are all these so called "terrorists" actually violent? or are they just normal people with normal jobs trying to live a normal life but still abiding by religous values of Islam? THINK ABOUT IT PEOPLE AND STOP VOICING OPINIONS WITHOUT KNOWLEDGE, IGNORANCE SHOWS IN WRITING.

Most people on that website (http://dispatch.com/issue/issue.php?story=213568) said muslims didn't speak out enough against violence.   That statement should wake all of us up.  If that is how people really feel, then us muslims should start speaking louder.  However, I don't think it's us.  Most people in Columbus are Republicans and they are reluctant to realize all the harm Bush has done in the Middle East.  Why the hell is it Bush's business if a country doesn't support democracy?  The whole world doesn't have to be like the U.S.  Don't even begin to tell me it's not striving for world domination, because if oil wasn't in the Middle East, would Bush really give a damn?

I condemn terror, I condemn ignorant jihadi's (but of course support those fighting for Allah's sake), but I will not apologize if that is what the public wants to hear.  There is no reason to apologize, muslims did not do anything wrong.  We need to continue to spread our TRUE beliefs and spread what Islam really is, and the best way is to lead by example.  We need to continue to be extremely kind, modest, humble, generous, and insha'allah our Da'wa will override the media in terms of representing Islam.

May Allah allow us to be the best muslims we can be, allow us to follow the Prophet (SAS) the best we can, and to keep us on the straight path even through times of hardship, Ameen.

Aside from all that political stuff, I am so extremely hyped up for Ramadan.  Can't wait for Taraweeh prayers, can't wait for Friday and Saturday night itikaf (wish i could do it during the weekdays), and insane amounts ibaada and getting closer to Allah SWT.  Ramadan truly rocks, and those who still insist on watching tv (a habbit that everyone should try to drop or lower addiction), seriously are going to miss on racking up insane amounts of hasanat.  And remember, those:
Allah's Apostle said: "Whoever establishes prayers during the nights of Ramadan faithfully out of sincere faith and hoping to attain Allah's rewards (not for showing off), all his past sins will be forgiven." - , Volume 1, Book 2, Number 36, Narrated Abu Huraira

Well, those are my current thoughts folks, don't be surprised if I update in 8 months.  BTW:  Only 5 months and 20 days left before OMAR UDDIN RULES THE ROAD.
